Meet Kristy Kinlicheenie - U of A - Cooperative Extension

🌾🐴 Meet Kristy Kinlicheenie, an inspiring member of the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension program. For the past eight years, Kristy has dedicated herself to agricultural education and 4-H, overseeing 4-H programs across the Navajo Nation. In addition to her work with U of A, she is pursuing a doctorate in agricultural education at Texas Tech University and has been honored as the Tribal Agricultural Fellowship Fellow of the Year.

Kristy collaborates with the FRTEP crew to provide valuable learning opportunities for Navajo communities. Several weeks ago, she was present for the equine expo in partnership with the 25th Navajo Nation Council summer sessions. She emphasized the importance of education in maintaining horse health, discussing essential topics like vaccinations and proper care to ensure horses are healthy enough to participate in events, reducing stress for these valuable animals. Let's applaud Kristy Kinlicheenie's remarkable contributions to agricultural education and her dedication to enhancing the well-being of the Navajo Nation's livestock and youth! 🌱🐴
