76th Annual Navajo Nation Fair: Parade Highlights
We had an incredible time at this year’s 76th Annual Navajo Nation Fair and Rodeo Parade. It was a day filled with culture, tradition, and so many familiar faces from across the community. President Buu Nygren and First Lady Jasmine Blackwater Nygren made a powerful entrance on horseback. Vice President Rochelle Montoya walked proudly with her family, reflecting the spirit and unity of the Navajo community. We also had the honor of seeing former President Jonathan Nez, Speaker Crystalyne Curley, and many hardworking 25th Council delegates—Otto Tso, Eugenia Charles-Newton, Shandiin Parrish, Vince James, Lester Yazzie, Helena Nez Begay, and Andy Nez. The floats brought energy with live music, dancers, and smiling kids chasing after candy. We even got a special shout out from the 25th Council float, recognizing Greenstein & Company as one of the top buyers from the 4-H Junior Livestock Show, thanks to the U of A Cooperative Extension Program. From the beautiful royalty to the riders and everyone in between, it was a celebration of what makes the Navajo Nation strong.
